Art, Creativity, and Therapy Center | Kfar Shamai
In the village of Kfar Shamai, a new Art and Therapy centre is being established in memory of Yaakov Ozeri. A space of insperation trough creativity, connections and growth.
The center will promote culture and art in the northern periphery, serving as an open and accessible space for all ages to create, learn, connect, and grow through art.
The center will host art workshops, therapy groups, exhibitions, lectures, and performances. The unique structure and the open space around it will provide an experiential and professional environment that enables creation, connection, and dialogue.
The building will feature round spaces, transparent walls,
outdoor creative areas, an intimate amphitheater, a graden for
artists, and modular rooms — all designed with a spirit of
openness, accessibility, and community.
A center that places the periphery at the heart of cultural
life.
The center’s location in Kfar Shamai is no coincidence—it is the landscape of Yaakov’s childhood, where he grew, dreamed, and created.
Choosing this site is not only a geographic decision but a continuation of Yaakov’s vision: to transform home and roots into a source of creativity and inspiration for all.
The "Dream Like Yaakov" Center is currently under development. Born from a deeply personal and moving vision, the project is backed by professional planning and wide support from institutional, community, and philanthropic partners in Israel and around the world.

Since his childhood Yaakov Ozeri z’l was a creator, designer and a man with art flowing in his veins. In his adulthood, he studied Industrial Design in Shenkar University Tel Aviv, And saw in arts an open language that fosters bonding for every person at any age and place. He believed in using his creative force to connect, heal and transform - and carried that belief with him everywhere.
The Center for Art, Creation, and Therapy in memory of Ya'akov Ozeri is becoming a reality and you can help bring it to life.
The total cost of the project is estimated at 5 million NIS;
half has already been secured. Plans are approved, and the land is
ready. We are now launching a new fundraising campaign to complete
the funding and bring this dream to life.
